How long does it take to open a store?+
Most sellers are live the same day. Create your account, add store details, upload your business license or national ID, and our team reviews within a few hours.
Which countries and payment methods do you support?+
Macdaar operates across Somalia, Kenya and Ethiopia. All payments run through bila, one gateway that covers EVC Plus, eDahab, Sahal and cards.
What does it cost to sell?+
One flat commission for every seller: you keep 80% of every sale. The 20% platform fee covers payment processing, hosting and support. No tiers, no monthly fees.
How and when do I get paid?+
Payouts settle to your linked mobile wallet or bank account every week via bila. Every payout is itemised in your dashboard.
What do I need to verify my store?+
KYC is the same for everyone: a store logo plus one identity document — a business license (PDF) or a national ID. Upload during store creation, update anytime in settings.
Which languages does my storefront support?+
Six: Somali, English, Swahili, Amharic, Oromo and Arabic — including full right-to-left layout for Arabic.
